Doma Restaurant in Bilbao

The management of the Hotel Domine in Bilbao wanted to offer the alternative of being able to use the hotel’s breakfast room for lunch and dinner with the help of renowned chef Martín Berasategui.

The breakfast area is in a privileged location, with unrivalled views of the Guggenheim. On sunny days, the dining room opens onto a spectacular terrace, increasing the seating capacity and allowing guests to enjoy its wonderful cuisine in the open air.

The furniture above, consisting of Tom Vac chairs by Vitra, is placed on the terrace, and inside, leather-finished chairs are installed, with oak tables, which provides a more elegant and warm touch, resulting in an interior design of pure forms in an open and bright space.

The teak wood floor has been treated and varnished.

On the glass roof, a lattice of orange vinyl has been made, which plays with the sunlight that penetrates the interior, providing truly attractive light effects.

The breakfast display area was closed off with silver KriskaDecor metal curtains, which, in addition to separating the area, add a sophisticated touch.

The lighting, which was previously resolved with floor lamps around the glass window of the central courtyard, has been completed with Tolomeo clamp-type wall lights from Artemide, placed on the metal beam framework of the ceiling.
